PARKER, WALBERTA The death of Walberta Louise (Wally) Parker of Minto, occurred in Fredericton on February 28th, 2006. She was born on February 14th, 1916 in Minto. Wally was the wife of Alfred E. Parker. She had many careers throughout her lifetime including farming, driving coal truck, managing a wire warehouse, operating a grocery store and finally directing the Minto Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Marlene and her son-in-law, Israel, her granddaughters, Sharon and Sheila and her great-granddaughters, Rebecca, Sophie and Meira, her beloved brother, Louie and sisters-in-law, Natalie and Vera. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Thursday evening from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, March 3rd, 2005 in the Alfred E. Parker Memorial Chapel of the Minto Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Berube officiating. Interment will take place in the United Baptist Cemetery, Minto.
