BETTS, MADELINE PATRICIA Mrs. Madeline Patricia Betts, widow of Lloyd G. Betts of 233 Main Street, Doaktown, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 82. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruby (Storey) Curley. She was a home maker and a former restaurant owner. She was a member of Doaktown United Baptist Church. She is survived by four daughters; Eva Betts of Doaktown; Colleen MacKay (Steven) of Boiestown; Cheryl Betts - Harris (Keith) of Storeytown; Janice Price (Nathan) of Storeytown; five sons; Glenwood Betts (Premila) of St. Catharines, ON; Gary Betts (Cathy) of Doaktown; Donald Betts of Port Albernie, Vancouver, BC; Keith Betts (Janet) of Storeytown; Kevin Betts (Becky) of Doaktown; one sister; Connie Egers of Chipman; one brother, Harold (Buddie) Curly (Joan) of Storeytown; 21 grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by one son, Ivan Betts; one sister, Winnifred and one grandson Laurie. Mrs. Madeline Betts is resting at Doaktown United Baptist Church with visitation today, March 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from Doaktown United Baptist Church, with Rev. Peter Valji officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At the request of the family donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Doaktown United Baptist Church would be appreciated.
