MUNN, ROY ALEXANDER The passing of Roy Alexander Munn, husband of the late Reta (Reid) Munn, of Holtville, NB, occurred on March 8, 2006 at his home. Born on November 24, 1920 in Holtville, NB, he was a son of the late Daniel and Sidney (Price) Munn. Roy was a Guide with the International Pulp and Paper Bowater. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. He is survived by two sons, Danny (Margaret) Munn and Robert (Mildred) Munn all of Holtville; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-grandson; one brother, Delton Munn of Fredericton Junction and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by one great grandchild, four brothers, Abe, Milton, Claremont and Archie; and two sisters, Ruby Munn and Lizzie Pugh. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home's Chapel on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. James McLaughlin officiating. Pallbearers are Lewis Munn, Jason Munn, Ryan Munn, Chanso Munn, Kyle Woodcock and Archie Carson. Interment will take place at the Cameron Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
