MYERS, JEAN E. (COLPITTS) The death of Jean E. (Colpitts) Myers of Oromocto, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital, March 8th, 2006. Born in Sussex, NB, December 4th, 1913 she was the daughter of the late Warren H. and Edna (Moore) Colpitts and wife of the late Frederick Myers. Jean was a member of the Oromocto Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the Women's Missionary Society and a member of the Sunbury Seniors Club. She was a long time volunteer at the Oromocto Public Hospital and worked many years in the gift shop. Survived by two brothers, Henry Colpitts of Perth, ON and Warren Colpitts of Alameda, California, one sister Annabelle Thomas of Orangeville, ON and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, her parents and one brother Horace E. Colpitts. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home, with visiting hours on Friday, March 10, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Oromocto Baptist Church Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 2 pm. Rev. Dr. Jeff Benson will officiate. Interment will take place in the Kirk Hill Cemetery, Sussex, NB at a later date.
