STAIRS, META AGATHA FREDA Meta Agatha Freda Stairs passed away peacefully after a brief illness in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on March 9, 2006 at the age of 99. Born in Fort Fairfield,Maine, she was a daughter of the late Neil and Marion (Madsen) Neilsen and wife of the late Harold Fraser Stairs. She was a member of St. Ansgars Anglican Church, New Denmark NB and a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survived by one daughter Marion MacMillan of Bradenton, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sons Dane and Avery and daughter Audry Daly. No visitation by request, a committal service will be held at a later date in the St. Ansgars Cemetery, New Denmark NB.
