Maranda Hope Reeve

Reeve Maranda Hope Reeve, born May 22, 1979 in Calgary, AB sadly passed away June 11, 2008. Maranda will be greatly missed by her parents, Margo & Randy Reeve and sisters, Kalene & Taryn as well as numerous family members & friends. Maranda loved music and found peace in playing the piano. She was very compassionate towards animals and especially enjoyed working with horses. Maranda's creativity was evident in her artistic endeavors. She excelled in her profession as a journeyman electrician. A celebration of Maranda's life was held in Okanagan Falls on June 18th. Memorial donations can be made to a scholarship fund in Maranda's name at South Okanagan Secondary School, Box 990, Oliver, B.C. V0H 1T0. No flowers please at the request of the family. Morrison Fern Morrison passed away peacefully in Lethbridge, AB on Sunday, June 22, 2008. Fern was born March 13, 1928 in Moose Jaw, SK to Purvis and Mary Wilson (Kerr). Fern was predeceased by her mother Mary Wilson, father Purvis Wilson, husband Will Morrison and three brothers Jack, Ron and Albert Wilson. Fern is survived by her two sons Brent (Chris), grandsons Jason and Jonathan and Darcy (Ricki), step grandchildren Matthew and Shannon (Greg) and great-grandson Jarron. Fern worked in several different retail positions, her first being with her mother in Joiners retail store in Moose Jaw. Fern also served eight years in the RCAF and was posted in France, Comox, B.C., Goose Bay, LB and Winnipeg, MB, where she met and married Robert John Willkie "Will" Morrison. Fern was a warm loving mother who would do anything for her family and enjoyed bowling with the girls on Tuesday mornings for years. Fern was a very private person but once you got to know her you could not help but love her. Fern will be sadly missed by her family and friends. No service will be held at the family's request. Ruth Kathleen Ellis September 21, 1941 - June 19, 2008 Our beloved Ruth died peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Ross (Pat), Jim (Betty), her sisters Margot (Dennis), Lucille (Larry), all her nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins, and her Special Aunt Ruth, all of whom she dearly cherished. She was predeceased by her parents Austin and Kay Ellis and her brother, Ron. Ruth was loved by many, especially her friends of many years at Pioneer Village. Ruth was known for her acts of kindness and generosity, and her gentle caring manner for all mankind. She loved to play cards, cribbage and a good game of Scrabble. Chocolates were her very favourite treat. Her affectionate smile would instantly light up a room. Thanks to all the doctors and nurses on units 3D and 4B at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina for their caring and compassion during this difficult time. A very special thank you to the dedicated staff at Pioneer Village for their many years of loving care. Thank you to everyone that touched Ruth's life and made it a better place for her.
