PROCTOR, ARCHIE THOMAS The passing of Archie Thomas Proctor, of Fredericton, NB, husband of Glenna (Baker) Munn - Proctor, occurred on March 15, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 12, 1930 in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, he was a son of the late Lester and Mary (Gallagher) Proctor. He was employed by the University of New Brunswick in the Maintenance Department. Archie was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church, and of the Royal Canadian Legion, Fredericton, Branch No. 4. Besides his wife, he is survived by one step-daughter, Bonnie Williams (Murray) of Fredericton; one step-son, Derek Munn (Lorena) of Fredericton; six grandchildren; one sister, Sister Patricia Proctor of Halifax; one brother, Pat Proctor (Marg) of Perth Andover; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Archie was predeceased by his sister, Carol Griffin and his brother, Bernard Proctor. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18th , 2006 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gil MacKenzie officiating. Interment will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
