SMITH, INEZ ELEAH (COLWELL) At home, surrounded by family, Inez Eleah Smith (Colwell), 80 years of age, wife of the late Albert William Smith, passed away on Sunday, March 19th, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. Inez was born in Ripples, NB, December 24th, 1925. Survived by three sons, Darrell, Merlin (Sylvia) and Jim (Elaine) and one daughter, Elaine Randall, all of Fredericton, NB; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Walter Colwell of Fredericton, NB; two sisters, Eva TerMarsch, of Parry Sound, ON, and Charlotte Holland of Fredericton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her husband, infant daughter, Gail; infant grandson, Wayne Randall; parents, Walter and Lena (Fulton) Colwell; and brother Sam Colwell. Inez attended the United Pentecostal Church of Noonan. Inez was a devoted Mother and Grandmother and had a passion for baking all her families favourite foods and having them all together on any special occasion. Family will receive visitors at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the First United Pentecostal Church of Noonan on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Bruce Arsenault officiating, Rev. Clair Mullin and Rev. Harlan Purdy assisting. Interment will be held in the Ripples Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
