LEBLANC, RENE J. The death of Rene J. LeBlanc of Fredericton, formerly of Minto occurred Sunday, March 26, 2006 at his residence. Born in Minto he was the son of Patricia (Fenton) LeBlanc of Minto and the late Patrick LeBlanc. In addition to his mother, Rene is survived by a son, Jerry LeBlanc (Jodi) of PEI; a daughter, Anne Marie Harrison (Danny) of Fredericton; 2 grandsons, Adam and Alex; a sister Eileen Dykeman (Walter) of Minto; 5 brothers, Edward of Mexico, Patrick (Dolly) of Regina, SK, Raymond (Sandra), Danny (Nancy) both of Minto and John of Fredericton; his long time companion Gladys Davidson of Fredericton; as well as several nieces and nephews. His father Patrick LeBlanc predeceased him in 1995. In keeping with Rene's wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held 10 am, Thursday, March 30th, 2006 in the Parker Memorial Chapel of the Minto Funeral Home with Father Peter Stephen Officiating. Interment will take place in the Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, N.B. For those who wish, Donations made to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
