REV. CANON PHILIP P.B. WARD
WARD, REV. CANON PHILIP P.B. Rev. Canon Philip P.B. Ward of Tracy, NB, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on March 28, 2006 at the age of 70. Philip is survived by his wife Beverly (Brooker) Ward, three sons: Stephen Ward (Bonnie) of Public Landing, NB, Christopher Ward (Peggy) of Edmonton, Alberta and Paul Ward (Shona) of Waterloo, Ontario, two brothers John Ward (Sarah) and Timothy Ward (Veronica) all of England, 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Philip was a Minister of the Anglican Church of Canada. Philip was ordained at the London College of Divinity 1968, he served at several Anglican churches in England and in New Brunswick at St. Mary's in Dalhousie, St. Mark's in St. George, St. Luke's in Saint John and in the Parish of Fredericton Junction. He loved photography, sailing, gardening, tapestry and singing. He is predeceased by his parents Evelyn (Powell) and Ronald Ward. Relatives and friends are invited to St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Fredericton Junction for visitation on Friday, March 31, 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be from St. John's (Stones) Church, Carleton St., Saint John, on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Capt. David Edwards and the Rev. Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Mark's Cemetery, Tracy, NB. at 4:30 p.m. You may express your sympathy by making a donation to Evangelical Sisters of Mary, RR#1, Millet, Alber, T0C 1Z0.
