CHARTERS, KATHLEEN MAY The passing of K. May Charters of New Maryland occurred peacefully at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on April 11th, 2006 at the age of 89. Born in New Maryland NB she was a daughter of the late Allen and Margaret (Greer) Lipsett and wife of the late Dona Charters Sr. A member of the New Maryland United Church, she was a homemaker and very devoted mother. Surviving are three daughters Norma Curtis; Dianne Rumble (Darrell); and Doris Green all of Fredericton; 17 grand children; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers Ivan and Earl Lipsett; one sister Doris Gorman; sister in law Mary Lipsett; daughter in law Mary Charters; former daughter in law Sandra Charters; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Dona Jr.; brother Leonard Lipsett; and sisters Martha, Margaret, and Helen. Resting at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. with visiting on Thursday from 3:30-5 and 7-9PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at the New Maryland United Church with Rev. Bill MacLeod officiating. Interment will be in the St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Cemetery.
