LYONS, GRACE GERALDINE (AMOS) The passing of Grace Geraldine (Amos) Lyons, wife of the late, Arnold Lyons, of Doaktown, NB, occurred on May 2, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 13, 1925 in Doaktown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Hartley and Beatrice (O'Donnell) Amos. She was a member of Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church. Survived by one daughter, Sandra Lyons (Dave) of White Rock, BC; one step-daughter, Joan Lyons (Howard) of Duncan, BC; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Leslie Amos (Eileen) of Doaktown, NB; one sister, Evelyn Carroll of Carroll's Crossing, NB; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, William Lyons; four brothers, Cecil, Lyman, Carl and Willard; two sisters, Jean McDonald and Leola Lyons. Visitation will take place at Miramichi Valley Funeral Home, New Bandon, NB on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 2 pm from Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church with Pastor Wilbur Matthews officiating. Interment will take place at Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Carroll's Crossing Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
