RYAN, HAZEL (GERALDINE) The passing of Hazel (Geraldine) Ryan, of Fredericton, NB, wife of the late Joe Ryan, occurred on May 2, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 4, 1922 in Marysville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Vera (Taylor) Donahee. Hazel was affiliated with the Marysville United Church. Hazel was a kind and generous person that enjoyed socializing with the people she knew. She will be always loved and deeply missed by her friends and family. Hazel is survived by one daughter, Linda (Floyd) Turnbull of Fredericton; one grandson, Jeff (Lisa) Turnbull of Fredericton; three granddaughters, Shelley (Wesley) Hatfield of Milton, ON, Lori (Alastair) Still of Timmins, ON and Leann Turnbull of Fredericton; one great grandson, Sandy Turnbull and seven great granddaughters, Avery Turnbull, Emily and Hannah Hatfield, Katherine and Fiona Still, Sarah and Heather Stafford; her brothers, Fred (Mary) Donahee of Richmond, ON, Doug (Mary) Donahue of Swan River, MB, Stanley (Betty) Donahee of Fredericton; and one sister, Marg (Harry) Cole of Sypher Cove, NB. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son, Freddie; daughters, Sharon and Patricia; brothers, Gerald, Sam, Dick; her sister, Muriel Liston and two infant sisters, Phyllis Dawn and Faith Marie. Although there will be no visitation at her request a graveside service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Marysville United Church would be appreciated by the family.
