Daryl Brent Ludwar
Passed on: July 13th, 2008
Ludwar, Daryl Brent On July 13, 2008 at the age of 51 years, Daryl died peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon following an all too brief but courageous battle with cancer. Daryl was predeceased by his beloved mother, Lena Ludwar, in December 2007. He is fondly remembered and will be greatly missed by his cousins and their families, his many friends and colleagues and his much loved cats: Bugsy, Mr. Bean and Bennett. Daryl studied at the University of Saskatoon, receiving degrees in Commerce and Education. He worked for T.D. Waterhouse for a number of years. He was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Cubs and his Fantasy Baseball Teams. Daryl was also an eclectic intellectual, equally ready to discuss world finance, Faulkner and U.F.O.s. He had a spontaneous sense of humor. His sharp wit and impish grin kept us grandly entertained. Prayer Service will be July 20, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. at Westwood (1402 20th Street W, Saskatoon). Funeral Mass will be July 21, 2008 at 10:30 at St. Mary's Church (211 Ave O south, Saskatoon) with Rev. Leo English Officiating. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Moose Jaw, at a later date. Donations can be made to the Humane Society.
