JOHNSTON, FRANK CECIL Frank C. Johnston of Fredericton NB passed away at the York Manor Nursing Home, on May 13th 2006 at the age of 94. Born in Newcastle, NB on February 16th, 1912, he was the son of the late George and Jennie (Cameron) Johnston. He was a member of the Wilmot United Church as well as a member of the Fredericton Horsemen's Association, a loyal & avid fan of harness racing, having driven horses as well as a judge at Fredericton raceway. He was a carpenter for Diamond Construction. Frank is survived by his wife Bessie (Calhoun) Johnston, two children, Marie Price (David) and Wayne Johnston (Sheila) all of Fredericton, 5 grandchildren; Jeffrey Price (Debbie), Christopher Price (Tammy), Lisa Moore (Courtney), Brenda Johnston, Michael Johnston (Tammy), 9 great grandchildren; Troy, Travis, Brittney, Cortney, Trent, Juliana, Haley, Courtney, Logan Frank and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one infant son, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, were visitation will be held Monday from 7-9. The funeral will take place at Wilmot United Church on Tuesday at 2:00pm with Rev. Bob Jones officiating & grandson Pastor Christopher Price assisting. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
