DONALD RALPH SPILMAN
SPILMAN, DONALD RALPH Donald R. Spilman of Harvey Station passed away May 22, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in England in 1916, he was a son of the late John E. and Ethel Alice (Barley) Spilman. Donald was veteran of the Second World War and a member of the McAdam Branch #7 Royal Canadian Legion. Donald is survived by his wife, Nina C. (Dykeman) Spilman; two daughters, Mary Alice Maltais (Jean-Pierre) and Pauline Elizabeth (Betty) Canuel (Mario), both of Sept-Iles, Quebec; two granddaughters, Natalie Maltais (Simon) and Christine Canuel (Eric); two grandsons, Marc Canuel (Emily) and Philippe Canuel; four great grandchildren; one brother, Edward Spilman (Greta), Stanley; a sister-in-law, Jean Spilman, Nashwaak Bridge; a special brother, Norman E. Spilman (Anita), Ontario; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Marjorie Boyce (Hubert) and three brothers, Byron Spilman, Stanley Spilman (Mabel) and John Spilman (Agnes). There will be no visitation or funeral service. A family grave side service will be held at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Tay Creek, NB. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Donald, the family has suggested the Royal Canadian Legion McAdam Branch # 7.
