GEORGE ALBERT LOGAN
LOGAN, GEORGE ALBERT George Albert Logan of Durham Bridge passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 65 with his wife Shirley by his side. Born on October 17, 1940 in Maple Grove, NB, he was the son of the late Guy and Eliza (Foreman) Logan. George was employed with Gulf Oil for several years and then with Irving Oil until his retirement. George's passions were his Belgian horses, his yearly wagon train excursions through the Boiestown area, his dog, Brandy and gardening. During the last couple of years he spent much of his time on the computer and as always, talking on the phone with family and friends until late at night. George is survived by his wife of 43 years, Shirley (Calder) Logan; one son, Ritchie ( Irene Paul) Logan of Fredericton; One daughter, Lisa (Michael) Gallant of Riverview, NB; one brother, Gerald (Gloria) Logan of Tay Creek, NB; two sisters, Thelma (Joseph) Milner of Sackville, NB and Annie (Glen) Flinn of Fredericton, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, George was predeceased by one brother, Ernest and three sisters, Mary, Elsie and Lena. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. John Cathcart officiating. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetic Association or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
