
WILLIAM WILLARD (BILL) In MCCORMACK
MCCORMACK, WILLIAM WILLARD (BILL) In Toronto, Ontario at his home, June 8, 2006, formerly of Saint John and Fredericton, NB. Son of the late George Wesley and Lottie (Lang) McCormack. Husband of Marie (Peters) McCormack. Born in McConnell, Manitoba in 1912, he was educated in Manitoba and Ontario. Joined the Royal Bank in 1930 and held various positions in branches in Ontario, Montreal and New Brunswick. In 1951 he became Manager of Schofield Paper Company in Saint John, NB and in 1960 Atlantic District Sales Manager of Domtar Packaging Limited in the Converted Papers Division. He retired in 1977. Anglican by faith, he served as both Vestryman and Warden. A member of the North West Commerical Travelers' Association and former director. A member of the Kiwanis Clubs of the Saint John and Fredericton. A charter member of the Golden 'K' Club of Fredericton and honorary member. A member of Hibernia Masonic Lodge No. 3 A.M and F.M. Upon retirement he took up residence in Fredericton. Besides his wife, he is survived by a son Peter W.W. McCormack of Woodstock, NB, and a daughter Mary-Charlotte Miller (Alex) of Toronto and five grandchildren: Jennifer McCormack of Toronto, Rebecca McCormack of Woodstock, NB and Janna, Peter and Katelyn Miller of Toronto. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a twin sister, Annie in 1917. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. There will be no visitation by request. Donations to the Parkinson's Society or a charity of the donor's choice. Funeral Service from St. Mary's Anglican Church, 770 McEvoy St, Fredericton at 2:00pm, Tuesday, June 13, 2006 with Rev. Ian Wetmore and Arch Bishop Harold Nutter officiating. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, and a reception to follow in St. Mary's Parish Hall.
