LEGARD, JENNIE M. Jennie M. Legard, 93, of North Street died Thursday, June 1, 2006. She was born in Lower Southhampton, New Brunswick, Canada, on Dec. 17, 1912, a daughter of Thomas Edward and Laura Gertrude (Cliff) Trail. She was employed at Bath Memorial Hospital as a charge nurse in obstetrics and later employed for Dr. Wade for 26 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Elwood Legard, on Feb. 3, 2005, five brothers, Kenneth Trail, Arnold Trail, Ernest Trail, Walter Trail and Edison Trail and two sisters, Glenna Cronkhite and Eva Haining. She is survived by one step-son, E. Sargent Legard of West Point, and several nieces and nephews. She is the last surviving member of immediate family.
