COWIE, DONALD BEECHER The passing of Donald Beecher Cowie, husband of Joan (Kerton) Cowie, of Fredericton, NB occurred on June 18, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 8, 1931 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Beecher and Hazel (Dorcas) Cowie. Donald worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia. He was a member of the Christ Church Parish Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Andrew (Nancy Patterson) of Fredericton, Brent (Lisa) of Fredericton and Joel Cowie at home; grandchildren, Christina Cowie, Samantha Patterson, Anthony Patterson, Nicolas Patterson, Sarah Kenneth and Anna Cowie; one sister, Alexa Cowie of Fredericton. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Christ Church Parish Church on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. John Sharp and Rev. Elaine Hamilton officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Anglican Church Cemetery.
