MAXINE MACBEAN
MACBEAN, MAXINE The passing of Maxine MacBean, wife of Eugene MacBean, of Scotch Lake Road, NB, occurred on June 22, 2006 at her home. Born on June 4, 1931 in Mactaquac, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Viny (Kitchen) Moore. Maxine was a long time member of the Fredericton Quilters Guild and a former Brownie Leader in Nashwaaksis. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting and being with her family and friends. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, David (Shelley) of Brooklin, ON; three daughters, Jeannie Sowers of Scotch Lake, Edwina Sharpe (Adam Carter) of Hanwell and Veronica (Alex) Pevec of Nanaimo, BC; nine grandchildren, Bethany, Travis, Shelley, Robert, Bradley, Bailey, Jordan, Amanda and Amber; five great grandsons, Oliver, Max, Aaron, Samuel and Mackie; one brother, Floyd Moore of Scotch Lake; three sisters, Nellie Parish of Riley Brook, Jessie (Donald) Yerxa of Scotch Lake and Ethel (Ronald) Godsoe of Scotch Lake; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Shirley Gillies; one brother, Clarence Moore; and one sister, Ruby Stephens. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 2 pm from Mactaquac United Baptist Church, Mactaquac, NB with Rev. Roger Urquhart and Pastor Chad Fletcher officiating. Interment will take place at Mactaquac United Baptist Church Cemetery.
