BOWLIN, EUGENE JOSEPH Eugene Joseph Bowlin of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the age of 93. Eugene is survived by his wife Mary ; two sons Thomas ( Nancy) Bowlin of Darthmouth, NS, Michael Bowlin of Fredericton, NB; two daughters Catherine (Mac) MacDonald of Greenwood, NS and Moira Bowlin of Ottawa, Ontario; one sister Mary Bowlin of Fredericton, NB; six grandchildren Maria, Malcolm, Kim, Jamie, Matthew and Michael; one great granddaughter Heather, several nieces and nephews. Eugene served in the Canadian Army during WWII . He was a Councillor of the Town of Woodstock and well known business man. A long time supporter of the Liberal party, he was a member of the ANAVETS and Honorary Member of the Canadian Legion. Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, N.B. with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 am from St. Gertrude's Roman Catholic Church. Father Bill Brennan will be officiating, with interment in the Calvary Cemetery. www.scottfh.com
