
BETTY RITA KENNEDY-LEFAIT
KENNEDY-LEFAIT, BETTY RITA Betty Rita Kennedy-LeFait (nee Valanne) passed away on Wednesday, July 12th at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born 16 September 1934 in North Minto, NB she was the daughter of the late Kunne (Ken) and Estella (Collins) Valanne. Betty is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Rene (Pinto) LeFait of Minto, NB Four sons, Michael (Susan) Kennedy of Minto, NB, Danny (Mary) Kennedy of Pictou, NS, Kenneth (Theresa) Kennedy of Edmonton, Alberta, David (Stephanie) LeFait of Minto, NB; Two daughters Sandra Boudreau (Victor) of Calgary, Alberta and Ann Jordan (Daniel) of Ripples, NB Two brothers Ken Valanne (Ida) of Minto and Bruce Valanne (Geraldine) New Zion, NB; seven sisters Edith Losier (Come) Minto, NB, Marion McNeill of Nashwaaksis, NB, Ruby Banks of Fredericton, NB, Irene Hennessy of Trenton, ON, Anita Jewett (Allison) of Fredericton, NB, Donna Bezanson (Ronald) of Pembroke, On, Lois Wilson (David) of Port Stanley, ON; Grandchildren Matthew Boudreau, Adam and Gregory Jordan, Kimberly, Tara and Michael Kennedy, Nicky Miscich and Amanda Kelly, Emily, Norman and Claire Kennedy, Kandice, Bryce and Kyla Kennedy, Britanie and Alexis LeFait; sister in law Barbara Cosman of Millinocket Maine and Dell Bastarache of Lachine PQ; Three great grandchildren Cally Miscich, Emma Jordan and Tarin Hache, Best friend Eileen Grant; Sister-in-law Margarite Davidson; Brother -in-laws Ronnie Kennedy, Gary Kennedy, Norman LeFait, and Arnold Chase, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, two infant brothers Bruce and Carl, her first husband Kenneth Kennedy and brother in law Fred Cosman. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Thursday evening from 7-9pm and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, July 15th, 2006 from the United Baptist Church of Minto (124 Pleasant Drive).
