Donald Mazur After a brief illness, Donald Joseph Mazur of Moose Jaw passed away on August 1, 2008 in Central Butte Regency Manor. Donald was born June 17, 1928 in Eyebrow, SK, where he received his education. He enjoyed playing hockey and was known for his wrist shots, and for the puck that went through the wall into the waiting room at the hockey rink. Donald farmed in the Eyebrow district on the family farm where he also took care of his parents until their passing. He sold the farm and retired to Moose Jaw. Predeceased by his father W.M.Mazur in 1977, his mother Jessie Mazur in 1984, sisters, Elsie Mazur in 1957, Mary Schlueter in 1993, and Anna Gross in 2003, brothers, Frank in 1986, Mike in 1989, and Peter in 2002. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Olga Mazur, and May Mazur, and brother-in-law Stillman Schlueter; along with several nieces and one nephew. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday August 7, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Pastor Terry Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Central Butte Health Foundation, Box 582, Central Butte, S0H 0T0, would be appreciated. In living memory of Donald, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W. J.
