CORBIN, SERENO Passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 14. A life-long resident of Minto, Sereno was well known in the community for the paving business and Corbin's Store. Survived by his wife, Darlene (Phillips) Corbin; children, Karen, Ricky and Mark (Cindy); grandchildren, Pam Kowalski and Nick Corbin; special great granddaughter, Amy; brothers, Robert Corbin (Betty), Gamaliel Corbin and Richard Corbin (Donna); sisters, Rose Ann Corbin and Christina Newman; uncles, Ovidio Celeste and Gamaliel Demmons; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Sereno Sr. and Stella (Demmons) Corbin; a brother, Valentino. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 17th, 2006 from the United Baptist Church (124 Pleasant Drive, Minto). Interment will take place in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Cemetery.
