ARBEAU, PHILIP D Philip D. Arbeau, 70, of Riverview passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, July 16, 2006. Born in Upper Blackville, he was the son of the late Thomas and Lena (Arbeau) Arbeau. Philip was a retired School Teacher at Caledonia Regional High School, Hillsborough with 21 years service and 33 years in the teaching profession. He was a member of the Gunningsville Baptist Church, member of the Finance Committee and Social Committee and one of the Co-Leaders of the Happy Gang Seniors Group within the church. He was a Graduate of Fredericton Norman School and received his Bachelor of Education Degrees at Gordon College, Wenham, MA and University of Moncton. He was also a member of the N.B. Teachers Association. Philip loved to cook and he showed his culinary skills whenever possible, he enjoyed working on his computer and his evening walks on Riverfront Park in Riverview, he was very much a family man. Philip will be sadly missed by his wife of over 39 years Sharon (Dysart) Arbeau; Daughters, Krista Gauthier (Will), Riverview, Karen Agnew (Jason), Moncton; his beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Emma and Eyan; Sisters, Bernetta Jewett, Mouth of Keswick, Marguerite Munn, Fredericton; Sister-in-law Freda Arbeau, Fredericton; Brothers, Perley (Maisie), Blissfield, Hubert (Doris), Fredericton, Marven (Marion), Grand Bay, Lewis (Gail), Upper Blackville; Brother-in-law, Clarence Gilmore, Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Miller and sister Doreen. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at Gunningsville Baptist Church, Old Coach Road, Riverview, Wednesday July 19, 2006, 1pm. Rev. Blair Holden officiating. Reception in the Church Hall following the Service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
