FARRAHER, DORIS M. (STACK) The death of Doris M. (Stack) Farraher of Minto occurred Friday, August 25th, 2006 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, at the age of 93 years. Born at Rexton, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Mercier) Woods. Doris was a jack-of-all-trades, a member of the Les dames de Ste. Anne, the Minto Senior Citizens Club and a volunteer at the W. G. Bishop Nursing Home. She is survived by 3 sons, John Stack (Rhea) of Sudbury, ON, Beverly Stack (Nancy) of Woodstock, NB and Arthur Stack (Pearl) of Minto; 3 daughters, Marie Savoie of Mount Uniacke, NS, Eva Daigle (Simon) and Maxine Smith (Jack) both of Minto; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; daughter - law Jo, brother Roy (Phyllis), sister Hellen, and several nieces and nephews. Her first husband, Bart Stack, her second husband, Martin Farraher, sons, Ronnie, William, Gerrard, Rodney and a son in law, Ronald Savoie predeceased her. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home with visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Monday, August 28th, 2006 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Minto. Interment will follow in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish, donations made to the Holy Rosary Luncheon Committee would be appreciated by the family.
