Lowenberg, 1918 - 2008 Arthur Lowenberg, 90, of Oliver, B.C. passed away Sunday July 27, 2008. He was born in Grenfell, Sask. to Jacob and Emily Lowenberg. In 1945 he married Phyllis Scheske. Art spent his life in Grenfell, Moose Jaw, and LaRonge Saskatchewan before moving to Oliver B.C. In the winter, he enjoyed their new life in Phoenix, Arizona. There, he and Phyllis enjoyed shuffle board. In Oliver, Art planted roses, worked in his shop, and in the summer continued to search for fishing lakes that he hadn't explored. Lately, his joy was the Blue Jays and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Art is survived by his wife, Phyllis and their five children: Cheryl, Larry, Darlene, Debbie and John. Art had 10 grand children and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two siblings, his brother Paul Lowenberg and his sister Ruth Pillar. The memorial service will be held on September 6, 2008 at 2:00 pm at%C2%A0the Park Drive Pentecostal Church in Oliver, BC.
