
CECIL LORNE KING
KING, CECIL LORNE At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on September 17, 2006. Born on February 1, 1926 in Lower Southampton, he was the son of the late John and Maude (Stilwell) King. He was an active longtime member of First Wesleyan Church. He worked in the woods, on construction, for the hydro and ran his own small business for a number of years. Cecil was a devoted husband to his wife of 56 years, Nina (Harris) of Fredericton, and a loving father to Anne (John) MacNeill, Alan (Joyce), Roger (Wendy), Stephen (Christine), Mark (Ann-Marie), Blair (Anne), Jeffrey (Charline), Sara (Tony) Rollins; 26 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Harold; sisters-in-law, Maxine and Evangeline; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his children, JoAnn and John; brothers, Burleigh, Ernest, Sterling, Raymond, Jerome, Eldon and sisters, Agnes and Ina. Cecil was known and loved for his sense of humor, love of games with family and friends and family gatherings. Visitation will take place at First Wesleyan Church, Duncan Lane on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from the church on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Collins, Art Reid, Buddy Clark, Irwin Hudlin and Doug Coates.
