SMITH, AGNES CAROLYN At her home in Chipman on Friday, October 6, 2006, surrounded by her family, Agnes died peacefully at the age of 84 years. Agnes was a beloved mother to Suzanne (Yogie) McGraw, Carolyn (Rodney) Lemon, Kathy (Hollis) Leckey, a loving grandmother to Arthur McGraw (Shelly), Carolyn (Wayne) Burpee, Shyanne Diamond, Lori (Robbie) Brown, Shane (Laura) Lemon, Hayley Lemon, Shawn Leckey, Stephanie (Troy) Palmer and great grandmother to Alex Burpee, Jake Briggs, Jordan McGraw and Andy Leckey. Survived by sisters, Doris Campbell, of Montreal, Lorna Valentinsen, of Lethbridge, Phyllis Hanley, of St. John, Elizabeth Day, of Chipman, Marlene Buchanan, of Chipman, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Mona Higgins. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett Smith, sisters, Greta Bussey, Mildred Stevenson, Marion Ryan and brothers, Amos, Malcolm, Roland and Clifford Day. At Agnes's request, there will be a private viewing by family only. Private interment in The 2nd Chipman United Baptist Cemetery on Saturday, October 7, 2006 with Rev. Harry Branscombe officiating.
