GRACE MCLEOD

MCLEOD, GRACE Grace McLeod of Wirral passed on at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 5, 2006, leaving family and friends who will miss her greatly. Born 1916, daughter of the late Brad and Mae (Toole) Duplisea. Grace is survived by her son Royce (Judy) of Wirral, daughters Lynda (Murray) Gimby of Wirral, Susan (Robert) Eveleigh of Saint John. She was extremely close and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother-in-law Harry Warrington of Calgary, several nieces and nephews. Grace is predeceased by her parents, her husband Ken, Daughter Judith, grandson Kyle, brother Clarence, sisters Stella, Hazel and Eileen, sister and brother-in-law Marg and Harry McLeod. Among Graces accomplishments were School Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Organist and Deaconess. Her church, faith, and family were of most importance to her, she will be remembered for her dedication to these. She was a life long member of Hospital Aid, Women's Institute, Missionary Society and retired Teachers Association. She loved the outdoors and was an accomplished sports woman and naturalist. Very few Jays or Toronto Maple Leaf games did she miss. She will be buried on her 90th birthday. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 and on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be from Blissville Baptist Church on Monday October 9, at 2 PM. Interment to follow at the Wirral Baptist Cemetery. If you wish a donation in Grace's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, N. B. (368-2413).
