BREWER, IRMA GERTRUDE Irma Gertrude Brewer of Fredericton NB passed away peacefully at Windsor Court on October 15, 2006 with family members at her side. Born in Carleton County, NB she was a daughter of the late Hayward and Cora (Jones) Billings and wife of the late John Lewis Brewer. Irma was a member of the Wilmot United Church, the U.C.W., the Wilmot Seniors Club, and attended various seniors groups in the Fredericton area. She enjoyed playing piano for worship services at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Windsor Court, and occasionally before worship services at Wilmot Church. She was an avid scrabble player and as her eyes failed her, enjoyed listening to her talking books. She is survived by her sons Rev. J. David Brewer his wife Sally (Jones) and their children Heidi, Nevin, and Tristan of Fredericton; Jon Allison Brewer his wife Therese (Prunet) and their son William of Windsor, England; four sisters Alta Rosborough of Toronto, Barbara Richardson (Paul) of Millville, Connie Brewer of Burtt's Corner, Shirley Brewer (Merlyn) of Fredericton; a brother Carroll Billings of Prince George B.C., a sister-in-law Florence Billings of Fredericton; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a number of brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation, a funeral service will be held at Bishops Funeral Home on Monday, October 23rd at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert Jones officiating. Internment will be in the Rural Cemetery.
