LYONS, RANDY DAVID The passing of Randy David Lyons, husband of Susan (Glidden) Lyons, of Fredericton, occurred on October 17, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on August 22, 1961 in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of Joan (Stafford) Lyons and the late Eldon Lyons. Randy was a tradesman at M.L. Wilkins Mill. He was an avid shuffle board player, a guitar player who enjoyed jamming with all his friends and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 4, Fredericton. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three step-daughters, Sonya Brown (Jonathan) of Fredericton, Cindy Lambert (Mark) of Harvey and Donna Glidden (Rick) of Kingston, ON; two step grandchildren, Nick and Kelsey Lambert; one brother, Steven Lyons (Lynn) of Hampton, NB; one sister, Wendy Walker of Fredericton; two nieces, Julie Lyons of Halifax and Jenna Lyons of Fredericton; two nephews, James Walker of Halifax and Patrick Walker of Fredericton; his beloved small friends and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 2 pm with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Reception to follow in the funeral home's fireside room. Interment will take place at Marysville United Baptist Cemetery Extension at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Epilepsy Society of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
