HUNZIKER,FREDERICK ALEXANDER Died Saturday, October 21st, 2006 at the Palliative Care Unit, Minto after a long battle with cancer, with his family at his side. Born March 3rd, 1924 at Salmon Harbour, he was the son of the late August and Lina (Weibel) Hunziker. Fred is survived by his son, James Hunziker (Marguerite) of Minto; a granddaughter, Tammy Taylor (Dean) of Little LePreau; two grandchildren, Jessica and Matthew Taylor; two sisters, Hannah Wyatt of Minto and Clara Muzrall (Jim) of Green Valley, Arizona; three sisters-in-law, Marjorie Hunziker, Georgina Hunziker and Evelyn Thompson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a special friend, Clara Barton in 2003; a sister, Flora Hughes; five brothers, Roger, August, Arnold, Walter and Adrien. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and from where Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM, Monday, October 23rd, 2006 in the Parker Memorial Chapel with Pastor Frank Robichaud officiating.
