JOHN HEDLEY PYNE

PYNE, JOHN HEDLEY March 14, 1922 - October 22, 2006 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Hedley Pyne at his home at McLaren Ave. surrounded by three of his loving daughters. Son of the late William and Lois (Brewer) Pyne and husband of the late Ada May (Rutledge) Pyne (March 30, 2005). Predeceased by a daughter, Mary J. Corey (December 30, 2004); brothers, Sterling Pyne (September 12, 2006), Lloyd Pyne; sister, Arthureen Estey; and grandson, Phillip Roy Dykeman. He is survived by his daughter, Louise Thow (Bill) of Halifax; son, Wayne Pyne (Linda) of Hanwell Rd.; daughters, Lynda Price of Fredericton, Marsha Clarke (Richard) of Napadogan, Debbie Sangster (Lynn) of Kingsley Rd.; brother, Arthur Pyne of Ontario; sisters, Doris Newman of Fredericton, Mary Foster(Bill) of Maugerville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the 104th, 7th and 8th Regiment serving overseas in WWII from 1939-1945, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #15 Marysville. Visitation will be held at Bishops Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 26th from Gibson Memorial United Church at 1 pm with Rev. Boyd Vincent and Rev. Joanne Barr officiating. Internment will be in the Sandyville Cemetery, Marysville. By the request of the family no flowers, memorials may be made to the Chalmers Regional Hospital Foundation for a permanent MRI or Kidney Dialysis or to NB Extra Mural Program, Fredericton. Honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Pyne, Richie Clarke, Carman and Mark Sangster, Jeff Turnbull, Doug Pyne and Billy Yerxa. www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
