POND, EVERARD NORRAD With great sadness the family would like to announce the passing of our dear father, Everard Norrad Pond, of Boiestown, NB, husband of the late Phyllis J. (Stewart) Pond, occurred on October 24, 2006 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born on May 30, 1911 in Boiestown, NB, he was a son of the late Harding and Emily (Norrad) Pond. Everard was a labourer for Forest Protection Ltd. He was affiliated with the Boiestown United Church. He is survived by two daughters, Emily Hunter (Merle) of Astle, Shirley Logan (Ralph) of Westfield; 10 sons, Murray of Fredericton, Fred (Pat) of Moncton, Wendell (Edith) of Belleville, ON, Bob (Ann) of Sterling, ON, Dean (Joyce) of Belleville, ON, Clifton (Betty Lou) of Boiestown, Lloyd (Alice) of Boiestown, Don (Kay) of Boiestown, Ivan (Roxanne) of Boiestown and Ronnie (Debbie) of Hampton; daughter-in-law, Shirley Pond - MacLeod of Boiestown; 44 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two sons, Ernest N. Pond and Everard (Midge) Pond; two grandsons, Kevin and Wayne Pond and one great grandson, Benjamin; one half-sister, Irene Cyr; one brother, Harding Pond Jr. and daughter-in-law, Alice Pond In keeping with Everard's wishes, there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, remembrances made to the Central New Brunswick Woodsmen Museum's - Airplane Maintenance Fund, New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
