WALLACE, WENDALL AMASA The passing of Wendall Amasa Wallace, of Fredericton, NB, husband of the late Muriel L. (McCutcheon) Wallace, occurred on Friday, October 27, 2006 at his residence. Born in 1910, in Central Hainesville, NB, he was a son of the late Ernest and Della (Billings) Wallace. Mr. Wallace was a farmer, woods worker and carpenter for the Department of Bridges for the Province of New Brunswick for five years. He was adherent to the Douglas Baptist Church. Mr. Wallace is survived by one daughter, Nerene Hoben (William) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Heather and Michael Hoben (Angela) and his step-son, Taylor of Fredericton; two foster daughters, Julie Hallett (Jim) of Drayton Valley, AB, Holly Johnson (David) of Woodstock; one sister, Jean Belyea of Silverwood; sister-in-law, Dora and one nephew, Clinton Wallace (Rowena). In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Beulah (Billings) Wallace, his second wife, Mary (Billings) Wallace; an infant son, George; one sister, Pearl Jones and one brother, Alvah Wallace. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 1pm from the Douglas Baptist Church, Douglas, NB with Pastor Peter Moore officiating. Interment will be held in the Central Hainesville Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service are, Clinton Wallace, Reg Anderson, Willie Basque, Conrad Billings, Charles Wallace, and Gerald Billings. Honourary Pallbearers will be Gordie Wheaton, Frederick Wallace, Darrell Stewart, and Arie Pelkman. For those who wish, remembrances to the Douglas Baptist Church, the Central Hainesville Cemetery, or to a charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
