PURVES, CARMAN REGINALD The death of Carman Reginald Purves, 68, of Maquapit Lake, NB occurred Friday, November 10th, 2006 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Minto, NB, he was the son of the late Reginald and Dorothy (Campbell) Purves. Carman is survived by his son, Jack Purves (Gayle) of Clarks Corner; his daughter, Pam Purves (Rob) of Barrie, ON; his grandson Jake; his 2 granddaughters, Megan and Courtney; a sister-in-law, Alice Purves of Michigan; 1 niece and 1 nephew. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jerome (Jerry) Purves. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, November 16th, 2006 at the Newcastle Creek United Baptist Church, Newcastle Creek with Rev. Ralph Runtz and Rev. Peter Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Newcastle Creek Cemetery Extension, Newcastle Center, NB.
