SAUNDERS, GORDON G. The death of Gordon G. Saunders, age 70 of Mount Hope, Penniac, NB occurred on Tuesday, November 21, 2006. Born in Minto, NB, he was a son of the late Allen Saunders and the late Florence (Fryers) Best. Gordon enjoyed hunting, the woods and country music. He is survived by children Kevin and Wendy Saunders and their mother Rita Hood; and children Allen and Vickie Saunders and their mother Eileen Lutes. Gordon is survived by one grandson and seven granddaughters, who will forever be in their hearts. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Cuby and one sister, Doreen. There will no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 2 pm, with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Penniac Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Huntington Society would be appreciated by the family.
