WHITLOCK, ELMER DOUGLAS The passing of Elmer Douglas Whitlock occurred at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on Sunday, December 10th, 2006. He was 90. Born in Marysville NB, he was the son of the late Hartley & Emily (Banks) Whitlock. Elmer was employed with the Federal Government until retirement. A member of the Canadian Armed Forces during World War II serving in Canada in the Provost Corp (Military Police). He also was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Marysville. Survived by his wife Eileen (Craft) Whitlock; daughters, Shirley MacDonald (Gary), Pauline McAloon (Edward) of Nashwaak Bridge, Rebekah Harrison (Lee) of Windsor, Ontario; son, Robert Whitlock of Penniac, NB. Grandfather of Natalie, Nathan MacDonald, Michelle McAloon and Kimberley, Kayla Whitlock and Joel Harrison; sister Evaleen Willis of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by brothers, Roy, Fred, Ben, Dell; and sisters, Gertrude, Helen, Ella & Laura. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road with visitation on Monday, December 11th from 3 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel. The date & time of the service can be confirmed by calling Bishop's Funeral Home at 458-1885. Rev. Willis Arbeau will officiate. A reception in the funeral home to follow. Interment will take place in the Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery, Nashwaak Bridge in the spring.
