PUGH, JOHN R. John R. Pugh of Burtt's Corner, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday, January 8, 2007. He was the son of Stanley and Margaret (Brewer) Pugh. John is survived by his wife, Miriam (Estey) Pugh of 55 years; two sons, Brent of Burtt's Corner, Kenn (Mabel) of Calgary, AB; two grandchildren, Nathan (Shannon) Pugh of Colorado, USA and Jessica (Shane) Wright of Calgary, AB; four brothers, Paul (Joyce) Pugh of Moncton, Cedric (Audrey) Pugh of Burtt's Corner, Patrick Pugh of Fredericton, Ritchie (Jennifer) Pugh of Burtt's Corner; one sister, Gayle (Alonzo) Dunphy of Dorn Ridge; sister-in-law, Ida Pugh of Prince Edward Island; also several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Cynthia Lee; a sister, Chloe Wade and a brother, Joseph Pugh. John was a long time member of the Burtt's Corner Church of Christ and a member of Local 772 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Visitation will take place at the Burtt's Corner Church of Christ on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the Burtt's Corner Church of Christ on Friday, January 12, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor Graham Crandall officiating. Interment will be held in the Burtt's Corner Community Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Cemetery Fund, Burtt's Corner Church of Christ or to a charity of the donor's choice.
