PATTERSON, GEORGE ARTHUR The passing of George Arthur Patterson, husband of the late Ethel (Maud) Patterson, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on January 10, 2007 at the DVA, Veteran's Health Unit, Fredericton, NB. Born on October 26, 1917 in Petitcodiac, NB, he was a son of the late Herbert and Barbara (Rouse) Patterson. George was a Turkey Farmer. He was a veteran of the second World War, RCAF, Bomber Command, serving in Europe. A past president of the NB Turkey Marketing Board and one of the founding members. George is survived by two sons, Herb (Mabel) of Dorn Ridge and Reg (Eleanor) of Corn Hill and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Roy Patterson. A Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at 2 pm with Pastor Gordon Weatherby officiating. Interment to take place at Maplewood Cemetery, Petitcodiac, NB at a later date.
