WILLIS GORDON ANDERSON
ANDERSON, WILLIS GORDON The death of Willis Gordon Anderson of Kingsley, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 13, 2007. Willis was born in Kingsley, NB on December 10, 1931. He was the eldest son of the late Gordon and Sadie (Jones) Anderson. Willis was a member of the Kingsley United Church and the Kingsley Silver Tops. Willis worked hard all his life on the family farm. He also worked at the Co-op Feeds and at M.L Wilkins & Sons Ltd. He retired in 1996 and lived alone on the family farm until his death. Over the past years, Willis has been in and out of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on several occasions. The Family appreciates all the excellent care that he received through the hospital, extra-mural and Peggy Kervin his home care worker. Willis is survived by two brothers, John (Sandra) Anderson of Oakfield, ME and Lenwood (Peggy) Anderson of Stanley, NB; two sisters, Jessie (Allan) Fairley and Edna (Lawrence) Smith both of Kingsley, NB; he is also survived by three aunts, Ada and Geneva Anderson and Beatrice Jones, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January, 16, 2007 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joanne Barr officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be: Charlie, Paul and Robin Anderson, Ronnie Clark, Neil Sandwith and Charlie Wallace. Interment will take place in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Kingsley United Church, or the Kingsley Community Hall or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
