CAIL, PAULINE The passing of Pauline Cail of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the age of 87. Born in Fredericton, she was the wife of the late Carroll H. Cail and daughter of the late William and Mary (Briggs) McFawn. Her great wit and her strength shone in her life and also strong in her faith as a member of Christ Church Parish Church. She was past Grand Mistress of the L.O.B.A. where she was an active member, former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #4, and very active with the Progressive Conservative Party throughout her life. Pauline worked with Atlantic Wholesalers Ltd., Eden Rock Hotel and spent 25 years at the Beaverbrook Hotel until her retirement. She was an avid bowler, loved knitting, and had a great passion for harness racing. She is survived by her children Helen and her husband Sam Robinson of Marysville, Sandra and her husband Douglas MacDonald of Burton, Jim and his wife Gaye of Fredericton, Carol and her husband Jim Lockhart of Marysville; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Mae Hoben and Dorothy Lyons both of Fredericton; 2 brothers Charlie McFawn and Fred McFawn his wife Olive all of Ontario; numerous nieces and nephews as well as a special friend Doris McMinniman as well as her furry friend Neilly. She was also predeceased by her brothers Lewis, Doug, Lloyd, Royden and Billie McFawn. Resting at Bishops Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd. with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm from Christ Church (Parish) Church, Westmorland Street with Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery in the spring. For those who wish memorials may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Fund, the Kidney Foundation or Canadian Liver Foundation.
