INGRAM, JOHN G. The death of John G. Ingram of Fredericton, NB, husband of Verna (E.) Ingram occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, January 21st, 2007. Born in Hamilton, Ont., he was the son of the late John Gordon Sr., and Dorothy Ingram. John is survived by his wife Verna, one daughter, Theresa (Terry) Smith and her husband Larry, one brother-in-law, Jim Hunter; one niece, Doddi; 2 nephews, Jimmie and Bobby and their families. John was predeceased by his parents, and one sister, Diane Hunter. John served for over 30 years with the Canadian Armed forces until his retirement in 1980. The family will receive visitors at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago Street, Oromocto on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 24th, 2007 at 4:30 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don MacDougall officiating. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 will hold a tribute service at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place at a later date in the Spurden Carr Cemetery.
