POIRIER, JEANNE D'ARC The death of Jeanne D'arc Poirier of Minto occurred Monday, January 22nd at the Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in St. Leonard, NB she was the daughter of the late Frank and Adele (Lavoie) Tardif. Jeanne is survived by 4 sons, Roger (Francine) of Montreal, George (Venita) of Calgary, Guy (Paulette) and Richard (Vicki) both of Fredericton; 2 daughters, Patricia Thebeau (Francois) of Nackawic and Gisele Crawford (Ricky) of Minto; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; a brother, Albert Tardif of Montreal; 3 sisters, Adrienne Carroll of Montreal, Della Michaud of Massachusetts and Simmone Tardif of Quebec; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Patrick, a son Paul, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) with visitation Tuesday evening from 7-9pm. A Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 24th, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church with Father Peter Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge. Although Jeanne loved flowers, for those who wish, donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. www.mintofh.com
