PALMER, JAMES REGINALD J. Reginald Palmer of Maplewood, York County passed away February 10, 2007 at Carleton Memorial Hospital in Woodstock. Reginald was born at Maplewood in 1938, a son of the late Joseph and Cynthia (Briggs) Palmer. Before his retirement he was a woodsworker who enjoyed hunting and antique cars. Reginald is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Davis) Palmer; his children, Mary Ann Buell, Burtts Corner, Sheila Weese (Don), Fredericton, Stephen Buell (Krista), Mactaquac, Robert Buell (Tammy), Sussex and Reginald Palmer Jr., Reserve Mines, NS; three sisters, Rita Palmer, Hamilton, ON, Annie Carpenter, Cambridge Narrows and Inez Sarchfield (Stanley), Knowlesville; nine brothers, Weldon Palmer (Patricia), Millville, George Palmer (Connie), Fredericton, Joe Palmer (Sandra), Douglas, Gary Palmer (Deborah), Zealand, Franklin Palmer (Adeline), Hartland, Frank Palmer (Darlene), Maplewood, Norman Palmer (Carol), Maplewood, Haldean Palmer (Carrie), Plaster Rock and Larry Palmer (Elaine), Waterville; eleven grandchildren, Dylan, Peter, Amanda, Leanne, Cody, Conner, Cole, Carlie, Ethan, Eli and Keegan; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, John Palmer in 2006. Resting at the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church, 1125 Route 605 with visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mark Cooney officiating. Interment will be later at Hawkins Corner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dylan Buell, Peter Brown, Michael Palmer, Fred Palmer, Carter Palmer, Chris MacFarlane, Andy Lindsay and Deno Bell.
