DICKINSON, ROLAND LLOYD Peacefully passed away at the QE11 Health Sciences Centre, Halifax after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 40 + years, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law, Aunt Anna Clarke and hospital staff. Roland was born in Chipman, NB and he was the son of Stanley and Blanche (Murray) Dickinson. In addition to his parents, he will be sadly missed by wife, Cheryl Anne (Fidler) Dickinson; children, Sherry Murphy (Chris) of Aroostook, NB, Jeffrey Dickinson (Carmen), of Chipman, NB, Tanya Dickinson of Fredericton, NB, Rodney Dickinson, Brendan Dickinson (Michelle), Troy Clark (Linda) all of Chipman, NB; Boppy's grandchildren, Brittany, Megan, Ryan, Samantha, Jacob, Jewel, Lacey, Mitch, Alicia Dawn, Hailey, Austin, Zackery and Sydney; brothers, Terry Dickinson (Terry), Richard Dickinson (Sharon), Randy Dickinson (Mary Lou); and sisters, Sheila Mowatt, Karen Randall (John) and Janet Jardine (Ty) all of Chipman, NB; several nieces and nephews and many great friends. Roland was predeceased by an infant son in 1965; grandparents, Edward & Pearl Murray; nephew, Jeremy Dickinson. Resting at the Grand Lake Community Chapel (43 Main Street, Chipman, NB (339-5522) with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2007 from the Second Chipman United Baptist Church with Pastor David Egers officiating, assisted by Pastor Reg Ward. Interment will take place in the Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman at a later date.
