R. JOCELYN PAUL

PAUL, R. JOCELYN Surrounded by her loving family Jocelyn Paul of St. Mary's First Nation passed away at home on March 5, 2007 at the age of 53. Born on August 2, 1953 in Fredericton, she was a daughter of Rita Paul and the late Roger Paul. Roman Catholic by faith, Jocelyn worked at the Beaverbrook Hotel and later for St. Mary's First Nation at Bingo and in Retail Sales. She was a very strong Aids activist throughout New Brunswick and across Canada. She is survived by her children Colin (Tami), Claudine (Tony), Michelle (Donnie); 8 grandchildren Blake, Roger, Zoe, Marissa, Aidan, Gavin, Brooklyn, Connor; brothers Darrell (Tina), Brian (Marie), Jamie (Gizelle); sister Pam (Judy); 7 nephews; 3 nieces; 3 godchildren. Predeceased by a sister Maxine and nephew Steven Koteff. Resting at 77 Maliseet Drive St. Mary's First Nation, where visitation will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. A mass of celebration will be held from St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Friday March 9, 2007 at 11:00am with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place in the spring. For those who wish memorial donations can be made to Healing Our Nations.
