Bryan Mantell April 29, 1938 - September 20, 2008 Bryan Mantell passed away naturally while enjoying the autumn morning of September 20th as he was hunting on the land overlooking where he had farmed for so many years. Bryan's wife Dorothy, daughter Denise along with Lyle, and Denise's children Mindy and Stacy; and daughter Sherry, husband David and their children Crystal and Derek will miss him dearly. His warm smile, his wit and gentle encouragement will be an inspiration to us all. Bryan and Dorothy's home was always a gathering place for friends and family and Bryan often led the smiles and laughter that filled the house while he sat comfortably in his kitchen chair. Bryan's life long friend Ab Erskine frequently spurred him on and the merriment made memories that will never be forgotten. We can all thank Bryan for showing us the value in sharing time with our loved ones. Family was always an important part of his life and he was always in close touch with his brother George (predeceased), wife Irene and surviving brother Jack, wife Wilma, as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Bryan's life will be celebrated during a come and go tea on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The location of the gathering will be at the Legion Hall located at 268 High Street West. Dorothy, Denise and Sherry would like to thank all of those who passed along their endearing wishes. Dad, we will miss you dearly, but we will always have your memories close to our hearts and we will remember the warmth in your smile and twinkle in your eye when we need to lighten our day.
